Break a Leg a YouTube Partner!

Hey, Swamblerinoes.

Some of you may have heard of YouTube's exclusive "Partner Program" -- where the site allows their popular channels to gain revenue from their videos. The program is invite only, and a few weeks ago, we here at Break a Leg received an invitation.

So, we are now officially a YouTube Partner. Does that mean we'll make a lot of money? I'm going to be pessimistic and say probably not, probably not very much at all, in fact. The key here is in some of the perks. One of the perks is I can tell people we're YouTube Partners -- which is, at least for now, a fairly exclusive club. The second perk is that we'll consistently be part of the Director Video rotation. That alone is great news. Some of you may have noticed we've been featured again, now for the third time, in the Entertainment and Watch on Mobile section for Episode 2, Part 2. Ideally, this keeps happening with all the videos until we can proudly say we've reached a million views and then drink ourselves into a coma.

So, yes. I just wanted to say thanks to all of you fans -- which forced your friends and your friend's friends to go to watch our show, to comment, to talk, to rate, etc. and, in short, getting us noticed by the YouTube brass. Very much appreciated.

That said, Blip.tv is still our main host and will continue to be so -- their site is simply the best one out there for quality content and our heart belongs firmly to them.

Thanks for watching, guys.

Why do we have to wait for a million views to drink ourselves into a coma?

That's fantastical news. But I agree with Jennifer.

Ever thought about Reever? Yeah, it puts ads at the end of the video, but it has been netting my friends a lot of money.
