We have a new Break a Leg-er!
Well, it's finally happened and it only took 38 and a half weeks. Maya Yaeli Baranovsky was born on August 11th,
immediately making me (Vlad) a daddy, and making Yuri a crazy-but-lovable motorcycle driving uncle with a poorly conceiled drinking problem. I'm glad to report that at 5 days old Maya's already attended a Break a Leg shoot -- where she showed her approval by falling asleep in her red, black, and white car seat.
Maya will be joining the child actors' guild just as soon as she can say "GFC," but in the mean time, here she is practicing her Wilhelm scream by looking at my face:
Apparently, I strike fear in the hearts of small children.
In other news, I remember sleep. I used to sleep once.

She is beautiful, Vlad--congratulations! So tiny! What a lovely name, too... Sounds like a future musician.
Vlad, best not to remember sleep at all. Or maybe remember it the way I remember Orange Julius. It was there once, they were tasty, but then a McDonald's opened in the mall and now Orange Julius is no more.
So remember it fondly and nostalgically, and never expect to see it again. Then maybe one day someone will walk up to you with an Orange Julius in their hands and you will feel reborn!
Congratulations, Vlad. Take a picture every single day, and then take another one in case you forgot to take the first one. In as little as one year you will not, I guarantee, be able to remember how small she was.
