Boards > What Episode Is Your Favorite? Why?

Hey, guys.

So, here's my question for you: which episode was your favorite and why? You can be honest, we've got tough hides -- and it'd be useful for us to hear. Also, is there something we used to do in the older episodes that you'd like us to bring back? Something you'd like us to take away? Let us know.

Oh, and to make this easy, let's call Episode 4-9 just episode 4 -- or, "The School Arc" -- because, really, 4-9 is one, super-sized episode.

So, you've got:

Episode 1: The Pilot
Episode 2: Bad Press
Episode 3: High Treason
Episode 4: The School

Hey Whats Up? I am new to these boards, but Break is Leg is such a good show I love it, my name is Jamie and I think my favorite episode so far definitely has to Episode 2, I haven't seen 3 or 4, yet, which one is your favorite?

Oh man! There all so good. I'd have to say a tie between The Pilot and The School. Are you guys gonna do commentary for 4-9? That would be awesome. Keep up the great work.

Although it's really hard to choose, I'm really digging The School arc.

You know, I think it's the school arc, mainly just because everything is so tight, and also probably because it's the most recent, but the third ep is definately a favorite, the bar scene and the uhual scenes are some of my favorites for sure.

Man, that is so tough.

I am always going to be partial to the five minute trailer, haha, although I know it's not technically an episode, the canned laughter machine makes me laugh, without fail, every time.

But Sex-Ed is my favorite real epsode (which falls under the School Arc) I think. I love the part where he yells "Cock!" at Jimmy, but you already knew that, Yuri.

I know it's probably weird for me to do this, but...

I'm a fan of the 3rd and 4th episode. They're my favorite. I think as writers and filmmakers, you can see all of our growth episode by episode, and I think Episode 3 was a turning point in our writing style. If you'll notice, a lot of the scenes are much shorter in Ep. 3 and 4 than in Ep. 1 and 2, and structurally, everything starts getting a lot tighter.

We try to trump every new episode with cool new locations as well and I loved getting out on the street, in bars, in sewers, in the school in the last two episodes.

This next one that we're shooting now is going to have even cooler locations.

They are ALL excellent. My personal favorites, however, are the Pilot and Episode 4, but Episode 4 especially. Episode three was expositionally important, but was slower paced compared to the other Episodes.

It's really hard to say this because they all really are great.

The action/mystery episodes are the most fun for me. My favorites were probably Episode 3 (okay, so I wrote it, I can still like it, right?), and Episodes 7, 8 and 9.

The new series of episodes should be fun as well -- more on that in a few days.

It is SOOO hard to decide, but I DID find my favorite line of Mint's:

Episode 7: Wait, did I not read that right?

Oh, man... Gold! (And I have SO been there!)

The fourth one is definitely the best, from vagina flowers to sending dead bodies to Far-Away, New Guinea. Oh jeez, very very funny:P
