Boards > Where Are They Now?

As I'm sure, or at least, hope you all know, we here at Break A Leg have lives outside of the show...well, some of us do. And I thought it might be interesting to know just what those lives might entail: the mystery, the mystique, the mysterious Ms. Teek, and so on.

For instance: I have been doing next to nothing but work and shows and shoots for the past three months. I get up at 8am (+ 1 or 2 taps of the snooze bar). I'm at my day job by 9am. I design signs for 8 hours. I leave immediately from work heading north in commute traffic. I rehearse/perform until 10pm. I get home around 11pm. I go to sleep. Repeat. Real exciting I know.

But this weekend, the routine was a little different:
Saturday: wake up 10ish to the sounds of one of my roommates moving out. Help. Go get breakfast. Help some more. Go do show. (The current show was "As You Like It", which is Shakespeare for those that don't know. And if you feel insulted by me having to explain that, then I'm not talking to you.) Have unofficial cast party. Go home. Go sleep. Wake up 9ish. Check email. Realize I don't have to be on site for that day's Break a Leg shoot till 11, which means I didn't have to wake up till 10. Drive out to Marin Headlands to meat Yuri, Dustin, Justin, Dashiell, Vlad, and Drew. Shoot till 4...15. Drive home and shower off the muck we had just been standing in for the last 5 hours. Drive 1 hour. Do last performance of As You Like It. Drive home. Get to sleep around 11:30. Set clock for 4am. Wake up at 4:47 realizing I forgot to actually turn the alarm on. Rush to get dressed because I have to be in Sonoma by 6. Get where I'm supposed to go by 6:15. Told I didn't need to be there till 7:00. Nap for 15 minutes in car. Go to wardrobe. Get decked out in 70's gear (that's right, corduroys and butterfly collars). Shoot a scene with Alan Rickman. Come home. Drink beer. Right this.

So you see, there is quite a lot going on in the life of a BaL-er. Oh, and any of you watched The Amazing Race the other night, I was the security guard. Neat, huh?

What he didn't tell you is that most of what he's written is lies, lies!

He's actually never met this Shakespeare, and said Shakespeare would in all likelihood pass him on the street without so much as a spit-take.

He also did not help his roommates move.

The Alan Rickman part is true. Those of you who don't know Alan Rickman may remember him as the villain in Robin Hood: Kevin Costner Edition. He was in Die Hard as well, but he didn't play Robin Hood in that one, so it doesn't count. He was also in Galaxy Quest, where he played Tim Allen and Sigourney Weaver.
