Boards > Break a Leg Journal

So it's 2:42am right now and we just finished storyboarding for a shoot that takes place tomorrow... err, today at 11am.
But earlier today we managed to shoot two fairly large scenes for episode 3. We definitely lucked out on our shooting locations today. Lets just say the first shoot involved a giant and the second one went nautical baby! Also, shooting with "guns" in public is always a fun way to meet people on the street. :)
But after a long 9 hour day of shooting, it is safe to say that yes, episode 3 is going to ROCK! Not only that, it's going to be bizarre as hell - which is great.
So we get home around 6:30pm. Eat some Chinese food and then get back in the car to go gather supplies for the next day's shoot.
Come back, make the list.
Camera? Check.
Charged battery? Check.
Boom and Mic? Check.
Dashiell? Check.
Scripts printed? Check.

And then it was off to storyboard the scene. Which ended about 45 minutes ago. Which we then proceeded to throw ideas around for the design of a Break a Leg poster.
Oh yes, a poster that actually says the name of our show!! And not the name of the show within our show... :P

So why did I start to write a journal with only 5 and a half hours of sleep left to get? Not sure really... Who knows, maybe I'll write more later.
Anyway, good night, and wish us luck on the shoot tomorrow!!

A real night owl, that's true art! You don't know how much I'm looking forward to your bizzare stuff...

May I point out that the Dashiell was actually forgotten and we had to go back to get him. He was asleep in his room.

May I point out that Anna enjoys it when Dashiell refers to himself in third person.

No Anna, you may not point that out, and may you please refrain from doing so in the future. :0P

Dashiell is deeply offended by those speaking in the third person. He's had several traumatic experiences in the past. :0(

If you could speak in the fourth person though, that'd be just swell.
