Writers' Strike conversation is out --
More edgy, timely content that'll make you really, really think about the writers' strike and your life as a whole, and while that's not true, it's a funny video, we think.
Also, stay tuned for another bulletin later today about the NewTeeVee conference.
Thanks! Enjoy!

A blog about more blogs..
Hey all.
Just wanted to check in, say hi, tell you I survived the NewTeeVee event and will have a whole blog about it soon, oh so soon. We've been running around and shooting the goodness that is the next episode so I've had very little time to compose blogs that would make you laugh, cry, or leave comments on some video site or other.
So, stay tuned. More blogs are acomin', I promise.
Also, there should be a new video this monday in a similar vein as the one we released this week, except with less c*#k.
Goodnight and have a pleasant tomorrow,
-Yuri

NewTeeVee new media conference
Hey everyone, Vlad here with an "Around The Break a Leg Universe" update. Today, Yuri, Justin and Dashiell are on a secret mission -- a mission to spread the word of Break a Leg to people In The Industry. They are currently at the NewTeeVee conference where lots of important and smart people are talking about important and smart things. After the shmoozing is done, Yuri as a "web celebrity" is going to take part in a family feud style game show which, may or may not appear right here.
In fact, they're broadcasting live from the conference all day, so if you're interested in new media, or in possibly seeing Yuri's zombie-like face, you can tune in at that there URL. The game show itself is at 7pm Pacific, so stop on by and send Yuri cyber vibes of support -- which he can use, given that I'm pretty sure he has no idea how Family Feud works.
Neither do I, come to think of it.
In other news, tonight are the semi-finals of our hockey league. Wish us luck!

Conscious and Blogging...
I'm alive now, I think. My brain still feels like it kind of, sort of trying to leave its boney prison, but at least I can look at Break a Leg-related material without vomitting. That's a good first step.
I think I mentioned this in the other blog, but 85% of the episode is now shot. It's being edited at a wild pace by Dashiell and Justin and hopefully our target for early January will be achievable (we stop short of announcing it outright just yet, in case something or someone blows up.)
This weekend and last was insane. We've never filmed so much in such a short time. It was like having our own studio and a budget, except it was neither a studio nor did anyone pay us. But it was a good experience -- completely, utterly exhausting, but it really taught us about organizing a shoot of this caliber and shooting fast.
A few things that you should expect for this upcoming episode:
-The next episode won't so much be an episode as it will be 5 episodes. I'm going to write a whole blog post on the format change, but we'll be shifting from the 30-minute-an-episode-released-by-part thing and go instead for a 8-9 minute episodes with their own arcs. It'll still feel a little bit like 5 parts of one big episode, but for new viewers it'll give them a chance to catch up easily (no one wants to watch "Part 3 of Episode 4" after all.)
-The cast isn't all dead (what?!? Shocking twist!) but... someone will die.
-Relationships between characters (the ones who are alive) will be further established.
-Roommates will be made fun of again... I hate that show. Come on, MySpace, really? Them? You couldn't find any other show that... god I hate Roommates.
That's all I can think of for now without ruining anything.
I can tell you that our first conversation minisode has just been featured on YouTube, though -- so, hooray! Make sure to stop over, rate and comment to balance out the stupid.
Oh, by the way, who's going to submit the first contest entry? Our actress is going to develop a complex soon, with all this waiting...
Thanks guys!
-A still unusually tired Yuri.

What a Weekend...
It's late. Oh god, is it late.
I'm currently trying to desperately finish up a weekend where shooting and preparation for shooting started friday at 6 pm and, aside from the quick meal and sleep, hasn't quite ended yet.
This blog is going to be a short one because I think most of my brain melted.
What we did this weekend and last:
-Shot 85% of the next episode.
-Had no time to sleep.
-Wrangled people much younger than us.
-Got stuck inside a school for at least a couple of hours.
-Built a set, shot in that set, and then took the set down in two days.
-Considered sacrificing one of the actors for fame and fortune.
-Didn't.
-Shot something for... today.
..which leads me to the last part of this blog which will probably make very little sense when I read it in the morning. Well, it's the morning now. Night. I don't know what I'm saying...
Right now, we're up and waiting for our first "Conversation" to finish exporting so we can throw it up on the site. What, you ask, is a "Conversation?"
Conversations will be a new segment for the show. We'll be releasing them between episodes and what they are is, well, exactly what they sound like. Each "Conversation" will essentially be one scene that has taken place between the currently released episodes. A scene that you haven't seen but that has been mentioned or that we assumed had, at one time, happened.
What's the first one? Larry and David getting ice cream.
Oh, it'll be delicious.
Is it time for bed yet?
