Episode 6 is out, and love is in the air!

Hey guys, episode 6 is out and ready to be grotesquely devoured by your ocular mouths.

Some things learned...

•Stan's method to getting a wife.
•Surprise, Amber is still mad at David.
•Something special and disturbing is blossoming between Chase and Francesca.
•And Jimmy knows absolutely nothing about the birds and bees. Luckily Claudio and Larry are there to show him the way.

So get a bowl of popcorn, gather up the kids and go to the main page for the high res version of another exciting installment of Break a Leg!

And remember, every time you go here and rate and comment on the video, an angel gets his degree in film. Which honestly we all know how much those are worth!

Picture Time with Jimmy Scotch

Hey, guys. Here's a blog from our very own Drew Lanning (Jimmy "Goat Legs" Scotch) with some iPhone pictures of various Break a Leg-related goodness. Enjoy!

____

I'm watching The Manhattan Project while I write this, I just need stuff on in the background while I do… while I do other stuff

I thought I’d put up a few crappy camera-phone pics I managed to sneak out of The Devil Clause shoot and give you a behind-the-scenes look at how we throw one of these episodes together. At the end I’ve also got a couple lousy shots from the shoot of the latest contribution to the ongoing story arc. Yuri’s already written a bit about it in one of his production blogs.

Wow, John Lithgow had that hot nerd thing going, didn’t he? He was really young back then. I love how “the purest plutonium in the universe” is being dripped into and presumably stored in a Tupperware bottle.

OK, on with it then.

Top-down on the “Broommates” set. Commence drooling.

Detail on the bear drawing. Yuri did this one. He kept saying he didn’t remember what a bear looked like, hence the label “BEAR”.

Rudolph. I don’t recall if Dashiell or Skip did this one.

Watching The Manhattan Project just really makes me wish I was watching Real Genius.

Santa. I don’t recall if Skip or Dashiell did this one.

The man himself. I love the sunglasses, typical LA Santa.

What I do when I arrive at every shoot. Pick up the latest script and Dashiell’s replica Kill Bill katana. Bill’s, not Beatrix’s.

Here’s a bonus shot from the episode 5 shoot. We count using the new math now. Episode 4 is still next, then after that is 5. That’s not so new, I guess.

A very young Cynthia Nixon is in this, too. The Sex In The City movie is going to be stupid. Like The Manhattan Project.

And finally…

The lovely soon-to-be Mrs. Toshiyuki manning a light. Daniela can be seen off to the side there. Maybe. Whatever, I don’t know.

---

And on that note, I believe Mr. Lanning went off to watch the rest of his movie, which, don't feel bad if you miss the references, I haven't seen it either. That last shot, by the way, is what's causing the "fire" inside that Uhaul van in the last explosion. We would fill up the Uhaul with smoke from the smoke machine, then open it and Hillary would wave a gel in front of a light to give that fire effect.

Now you learned something!

-Yuri.. and Drew. Mostly Drew.

We're baaack.

Justin, Dashiell and I return triumphant from our trip to New York. We're going to have some pictures and possibly a very short video up for you ideally this week.

We had some very good meetings with For Your Imagination and, in general, had a lot of fun. We hope you're enjoying the new video and hope that you'll continue to talk to us on the message boards, on the video comments and on the blogs -- it's been surprisingly quiet around here lately and we'd like to change that.

Also, stay tuned for a re-haul of the website -- changes should be in place in the next week or two.

Thanks, guys!

Episode 5 is out!

Hey all,

Episode 5 is now ready for your viewing pleasure. As always, the powers that be are watching so we need you to rate, comment, digg, write to Oprah, etc.

Some fun facts about this episode:

- Yuri's recent production nightmare blog was referring to the Uhaul scene in the beginning. As you can see, it was real easy for him to bring the anger.

- Candi with the i and the heart over it is played by mine and Yuri's cousin Katrina (hi Katka!) who is an accomplished dancer and the little sister we never had.

- My main computer exploded in our recent series of power outages, so all the new music in this episode was created using a laptop with a 15 second battery life and a bad power cable, old headphones, and a tiny keyboard with an F key that sticks up in the air. Incidentally, the reason it sticks up in the air is because Yuri dropped it.

Enjoy and stay tuned for the next episode!

Vlad

--Quick thing: You can watch the episode on the website in higher quality and you can also watch it on YouTube -- where, if you love us, you can  rate, comment, subscribe, so on and so forth -- that always helps. Also, we really care about your comments here on the main page too, so, don't forget to write!

Thanks, guys.

New York, New York.

Hey, fans.

Just wanted to let you know that me (me being Yuri), Justin and Dashiell are going on a little trip to New York to hang out with For Your Imagination and see the city in general (none of us have been there! Sacrilege!)

Don't worry, the blog will be updated by Vlad, who'll finally speak to you and not speak to you through me. Also, another "Last Time" will be out this Friday and on Monday, you'll get Episode 5, which, if Vlad forgets to mention, you must help us by commenting, rating, favoriting, etc. etc. on YouTube and, of course, leaving your comments here as well -- we love to know what you think, even if it's twice!

If any of you fans are in NY -- look for us. We'll be in Brooklyn, joining a gang.

Adios,

-Yuri
