Saturday --
We're done shooting the Episode!
Oddly enough, the shoot with Drew -- Jimmy Scotch -- ended up being a really nice break from sitting in a room and editing. It was shot in the park and it's a really nice day today, so, we took our time, got sandwiches, shot the scene and played with Drew's child, Ronin (who is, in fact, a wandering samurai.)
Now we're back and editing. The show is looking good and I'll keep you updated on how it's going.
I'm going to go eat my sandwich now.
Drew may just write a blog today to tell you about shooting and, I don't know, his day or something (he's as good of a writer as he is an actor, so, you know you're in for some terrible stories.)
Back later --

The Pre-Launch Weekend --
Hey, everyone.
So, it's friday, 1:21 am. It's not my birthday anymore. That went by like a leaf in the wind that just turned 24. But that's okay, I'll be celebrating that next friday.
Right now, we're editing. Or, kind of. The episode has its final cut and right now, we're adding the final tweaks. Our sound guys (Dustin Toshiyuki and Ben Wallen) are working hard at their respective homes to get us scenes foleyed (sound effected) and leveled (leveled)while we're here, finishing the last graphic art on the cut-aways and making sure every joke is hi-larious.
That's theoretically what we're doing. What we're really doing is Dashiell has passed out on his bed. See, he's been editing pretty much non-stop all week. When he's not editing, he's doing graphic work or those fancy slide in-and-out effects that you see. Now I think he's dead.
Justin is finishing up a hilarious graphic art poster while multi-tasking and telling Dustin about sound-related stuff.
I'm writing this blog -- because I'm not directing this episode and I can just coast most of the way.
UPDATE: All of our friends just showed up from their bar adventure. They're loud and laughing and a little drunk I think. No they are. Yeah. Definitely. They celebrated my birthday without me. I respect the effort.
...now half of them are asleep. Literally, in the length it took me to write that, half of them went to bed...
So, it looks like we'll be wrapping up in a minute. Maybe.
Tommorrow morning, we have to shoot! That's bad. If you're taking notes -- that's bad. We should've been done. But we had a few hang-ups and, anyway, the last scene is to be shot tommorrow, at 11 am. yaay.
I'll keep you guys updated! Now off to work or sleep or something something. I'm so tired I can't think anymore. Wee.
More tommorrow --

Last Time on Break a Leg and..
Hey, all.
In preparation for the release of Episode 3, we've put out a "Last Time on Break a Leg" video that'll catch you up with what's been happening in the last two episodes. We'll also probably have a shorter version directly attached to the video when it comes out.
Also, Paul Kontonis, CEO of For Your Imagination was interviewed about us a few nights ago, you can see him talk about us here:
Yes, they mispelled our website -- that's okay. Also, Paul says Episode 3 is the beginning of the "new season" -- it's not. It's Episode 3, Paul just keeps saying "new season" for some reason. Either way, it's still a great interview and Paul sure knows how to describe everything we do and they do in the span of five seconds. That's some marketing talent right there!
Hope you guys are as excited about Episode 3 as we are -- it's looking great and has some surprises that you'll all love.
Just a few days left, everyone...

Break a Leg Goes International...
Our friend and fan, Ryan Sproull, went on 95bFM last week -- a radio station in Auckland, New Zealand -- and talked up Break a Leg to international audiences.
You can hear his interview here.
We were talked up on another radio station on the east coast by For Your Imagination's very own John Henkel -- and we'll have a link for you for that in the next few days, hopefully.
Also, a new poster has been made and will be revealed this week.
Also, also, we will be releasing a, "LAST TIME ON BREAK A LEG" video either tonight or tomorrow.
Also, also, also, we'll hopefully reveal our secret celebrity guest this week as well.
And finally, monday is the day you've all been waiting for, Episode 3, Act I will be out and you will love it.
Adieu,
-Yuri
