Episode 3, Part 2 -- one day away!

Hey, Swamblers.

So, after spending friday and saturday relaxing, going out and celebrating not only my birthday (oh, god the celebration) but also some of the good fortune we've had this week (351,000 views on YouTube for Ep. 3, pt. 1 and more features than you can shake a feature-related stick at).

Today we go back to work though. There are a few tweaks for Part 2 that need to be made and a few sound-related issues that need to be worked out. Ideally, it should only be a couple of hours of work, but usually when we think that it ends up being 12 hours of work. But we'll see!

Thanks again to all of you for watching and passing the show on to your friends. Our viewership has really grown in the past month or two -- even without the huge YouTube feature (though, that did help), and we thank you for it.

That said, you've only seen 1/5th of this Episode, and personally, I think it gets better and better.

Thanks, guys!

Digg Gary Coleman!

Hey, guys.

We're trying to get the Patrice Oneal promo, with good ol' Gary Coleman, featured on Digg.com. The key here is to get 30-40 diggs in a short amount of time so, if you can help us out and digg it here: http://www.digg.com/celebrity/Gary_Coleman_s_Grown_Up_Surgery_Commercial

We would love you!

Thanks! 231,000+ on YouTube and counting! Thanks everyone!

Break a Leg gets Sponsored!

Hey, guys!

So, this is the fun announcement we have -- I copy and pasted it right off the For Your Imagination website:

smartshowNew videos of the popular online sitcom Break a Leg premiered on October 1st and include an advertising campaign promoting HBO/AOL's “The Smart Show”. This marks the first sponsorship deal for Break a Leg. The ads are scheduled to run from October 1st through November 30th and will involve “The Smart Show” overlays and postrolls in the blip.tv video and in the video on the Break a Leg site. The overlays will click through to thesmartshow.blip.tv. Thanks to everyone at blip.tv for their support!

--

Okay, let me quickly explain what all of that means.

The Smart Show is a fun docu-comedy produced by HBO/AOL, as the above says. The sponsorship deal isn't huge -- we're not going to all of a sudden have a set, pay the actors or quit our day jobs. What this is is a major stepping stone in helping Break a Leg gain popularity and relevance. Ideally, this kind of thing is what gets us more press and, ideally, more sponsorship deals (like from AOL/HBO directly, howabout it guys?)

Anyway, huge thanks to Blip.TV and FYI for getting this together for us. And another huge thanks to all of you -- as, without fans, we're just that little show that invented Grown-Up Surgery.

Thanks, guys!

Gary Coleman advertises Grown-Up Surgery --

Hey, guys!

I know some of you were slightly irked that the video we released was a bit too short (since a bit of it was the LAST TIME ON...) -- so, we will sate your funny-hunger by showing you Gary Coleman's latest Grown-Up surgery ad.

It's guaranteed to make you want to be taller. Check it out on the front page.

YouTube Feature makes Break a Leg Smile --

Hey guys, check out these honors on YouTube:

That's right, High Treason, Act I is featured on YouTube, under Entertainment. This should bring us some deliciously high views.
One thing -- because it's YouTube, people like to rate down (bastards) -- so, if you guys have the time, just go over to our YouTube video and give it a high rating. That would be swell!
Thanks guys! New video coming today. Oh yes, you heard me right.
